You’ve probably heard the word “superfood” tossed around quite freely in recent years, which can make it difficult to keep straight all the deliciously healthy foods in the world. Add to that the fact that there’s no standard definition of the word “superfood,” and it’s enough to drive a person to eat processed foods!

Well, maybe the confusion isn’t that strong. In any case, we’re just happy that the folks over at Foodbeast posted an infographic explaining some of the benefits of the world’s most famous superfoods. Check it out and let us know what you think!

  1. Olive Oil is a low heat oil that becomes rancid when processed or if it is cold processed it becomes rancid when you heat it to cook with it.

  2. ok.. some superfoods aren’t on here that definitely should be.. goji berries, cashews, bee pollen.

  3. yeah um okay. Oatmeal is NOT Diabetic Friendly. PERIOD.
