Four Technologies Required for Robots of the Future

Perception is necessary tool for robot to adapt to the environs. Through more programming works in addition to cameras and sensors, more can be done to surge the sensory response of a robot, especially when the robot is in a position that is irresponsive to its operators. This technology is required for a robot to not only recognize the surrounding as a mission, but it can adapt to changes in the environment and real time as in the image above.

Refining the processing structure of a robot will enable it collaboratively model the environment it is in, and share the experience with other robots and humans. They need a processing power to manipulate and design their surroundings. Engineers and scientists are using cloud computing which increases robot processing power in order to achieve this.

Durable, mobile and affordable power is needed to work meritoriously. The energy is also needed to be converted to enable motion in the robots as shown. Increasing the actuators batteries and having new materials used in building actuators is the key. This will advance mobility and processing.

Planning is next; on their mission, and how to respond, adapt and act during unforeseen events. A template on actions and commands is not enough to unconventionally work as a robot. Unexpected situations that are not in the template will not be responded to well by the robot unless it is planned in its processing, on how to deal and react to unclear events.
